We are also the official sponsor of Lola, a NDSDF search dog. |  | | Introducing Lola Like many NDSDF dogs, Lola, a Labrador Retriever, was rescued from an animal shelter. Just in time, too. She was only one day away from being euthanized when a local veterinarian and NDSDF supporter recognized Lola's potential and set her on her way to becoming an elite search dog. | Lola recently suffered an injury to one of her hind legs, and her veterinarian prescribed METACAM to help her return to duty. Lola's handler, Johnny Subia, says,
"I was very impressed by how quickly she responded to METACAM. Lola seems like a puppy again and is certainly not acting like a 6 1/2-year-old search dog. Everyone in our training group has been amazed by Lola's increased energy and enthusiasm." |
