Case history
Matilda's story The people in Matilda’s life have always made decisions with her best interests in mind—her owners, when they made the choice to have her spayed, and her veterinarian, when she administered METACAM to Matilda prior to surgery. METACAM is the only approved drug of its kind (an NSAID) to control pain in cats. A single preoperative injection helped control Matilda’s postoperative pain and inflammation for a full 24 hours.
